Lidl in Tyrellstown to reopen on Thursday, December 1

Lidl Ireland has announced the re-opening of its newly refurbished Tyrrelstown store on Thursday, December 1 at 8am.

The new store sees an additional 15 local jobs created, bringing the team at Tyrellstown to 35, accommodating the needs of the larger store.

A further 100 jobs were also created during the development and construction phases which is now almost complete.

Commenting on Tyrrelstown re-opening Lidl Store Manager, Thomas Kelly said: “We’re looking forward to being warmly welcomed back by the local community and see so many familiar faces through the door.

“On behalf of the entire team, I want to thank our customers and local community for their patience during the construction works – I know they will agree that it was worth it!

“The new store offers a more spacious shopping experience and we are excited to welcome customers to experience the new features of the store while shopping our quality range of incredibly priced products.”

Lidl Ireland employs more than 5000 employees in its 175 stores, head office in Tallaght and three distribution centres and regional offices based in Charleville, Mullingar and Newbridge.

Lidl Tyrellstown will be open daily: Monday – Saturday 8:00am – 10:00pm, and Sunday 9.00am – 9:00pm.
