Three in a million!

Tesco staff in Phibsboro celebrate selling the winning ticket.

NORTHSIDERS are being urged to check their Daily Million Lotto tickets to see if they’ve become the third overnight millionaire in Dublin 7 over the past year.

The golden quick pick ticket for the 2pm Daily Million draw on Monday, January 14 was sold at Tesco in the Phibsboro Shopping Centre, Dublin 7.

But the winner has been slow in coming forward, leading to an appeal from National Lottery officials for locals to check and see if they have the lucky ticket.

The winning numbers are: 2, 10, 14, 25, 34, 35 and the bonus number is 21.

Incredibly it was the third Daily Million winning ticket sold in Dublin 7 over the last 12 months.

In February 2018 A & J Ormsby on North Circular road sold a winning ticket, while last September Costcutters Express, also on North Circular Road, got in on the act and sold another top prize.

Karl Moraghan, store manager in Tesco Phibsboro said staff were delighted to have sold the Daily Million winning ticket.

“There’s a great atmosphere in store with colleagues and customers checking their tickets,” he said.

“We’re excited to find out who the winner is and congratulate them.”

The Daily Millions Draw with a guaranteed top prize of €1 million takes place twice a day at 2pm and 9pm.
