Gardaí have recovered a gun and drugs in Blanchardstown during a raid carried out as part of on-going investigations targeting serious criminal activity in the west Dublin.
The operation led by detectives from the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau resulted in the seizure of a Baikal pistol and ammunition and a stolen high-powered motorcycle.
A quantity of cocaine and cannabis with a street value of approximately €30,000 was also seized.

A 22-year-old man was arrested as part of the investigation and is currently detained at Finglas Garda Station. Investigations are continuing and further updates are expected.
