As part of ongoing investigations targeting organised crime activity under Operation Tara, Gardaí attached to the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) conducted an operation in the Northside yesterday.
A Garda spokesperson said:
“As part of the operation, Gardaí stopped a vehicle in the Clonsaugh area and searched a residential property in Coolock.
“Cannabis with an estimated value of €784,000 was seized during the course of the operation.
“A woman, aged in her 20s, was arrested pursuant to Section 15 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1977/84 in relation to the sale and supply of controlled drugs.
“She is currently detained at a Dublin Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996, as amended.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
