Oaklee has opened applications for new Cost Rental homes at Harman’s Rest, Turvey Avenue, Donabate.
Cost Rental homes at Harman’s Rest will provide 68 new apartments for eligible households, offering secure, long-term rental accommodation at rents below open market levels.
Harman’s Rest is the second Cost Rental scheme brought forward by Oaklee, following the delivery of 154 Cost Rental homes at The Sidings in Adamstown in 2025.
The new development builds on Oaklee’s experience in delivering and managing secure, long-term Cost Rental homes.
Harman’s Rest is one of Oaklee’s largest upcoming developments and will deliver 163 new apartment homes across three blocks.
The scheme includes a mix of Cost Rental and social homes, supporting the delivery of affordable, secure and long-term housing in a well-connected area of Fingal.
The first phase comprises 68 Cost Rental apartments at Block C.
Cost Rental is a Government-supported housing scheme and forms part of the wider Starter Homes Programme.
It is designed for people who may not qualify for social housing but are finding it difficult to access affordable rental accommodation in the private market.
Cost Rental homes are made available at rents below open market levels and provide secure, long-term rental accommodation for eligible households.
Rents are typically at least 25% below local market rates, helping residents access a more affordable and stable rental option.
Applications for the Cost Rental homes at Harman’s Rest are now open until 2 November 2026 at 12:00.
Applicants are encouraged to review the eligibility criteria carefully and ensure they have all required documentation available before applying.
The first phase includes 22 one-bedroom apartments, 36 two-bedroom apartments and 10 three-bedroom apartments. Monthly rents are €1,509 for a one-bedroom apartment, €1,705 for a two-bedroom apartment and €1,800 for a three-bedroom apartment.
