Griffin Point has been designed with tenants’ quality of life at its core.

Each home features modern appliances and A-rated Building Energy Rating (BER), with access to local amenities including schools, shops, and public transport.

Tenants will also benefit from dedicated on-site services, including a Tenant Relations Officer, Community Support Worker, and Building Supervisor, helping tenants settle into their new homes and supporting the development of a strong community.

There is also underground parking provided.

Phase 2 of the development will include a purpose-built Early Learning and School Age Care (ELSAC) centre, operated by Respond, offering 40 childcare places for those aged 2 to 6 years.

The service will offer a combination of full-time childcare places and Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) funded preschool places, offering greater choice and flexibility for families.

Niamh Randall, Spokesperson for Respond, highlighted the importance of this milestone:

“For many people finding a home they can afford to rent over the long term remains a real challenge.

“These homes will provide greater affordability and the security of knowing they can put down roots in their community.

“At Respond, our focus is not just on delivering homes but on creating places where people can build their lives.  Griffin Point brings together high-quality housing, local amenities and dedicated community supports, with a new childcare service also planned as part of the development.

“This is an important addition to Dublin’s supply of Cost Rental housing, made possible through our continued partnership with Dublin City Council, the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, and the Housing Finance Agency and The Housing Agency, with construction led by Bluemont Developments and Townmore.”

Respond currently provides homes for over 20,000 people in more than 9,000 homes across Ireland.

The organisation has approximately 2,245 homes under construction as part of its social and Cost Rental housing delivery programme across Ireland.
