Around 60,000 students are receiving their Leaving Cert results online this morning.
14,414 of them are Dublin students who will be finding out what options are open to them.
The new calculated grading system, introduced due to Covid-19, shows an increase of 4.4% on average across all subjects.
Education Minister Norma Foley says the decision to provide them with calculated grades was taken with their best interests at heart.

“This has been a particularly challenging and difficult year for the class of 2020 but they have been remarkable,” she said.
“I want to acknowledge them for their intense, I suppose, determination and focus and their patience as they persevered with what really is a new departure for us in the Education system.”
