Parnell’s GAA get kit boost

Colm McDonald of Parnell's GAA Club with Jane Rowley of Supermac's Newtown, Coolock.

SUPERMAC’S and Papa John’s in Newtown, Coolock, have teamed up with Parnell’s GAA Club to promote a Kits for Clubs initiative.

The initiative means that the club will be able to get a set of jerseys for whatever team needs them.

The club will have a box in Supermac’s Newtown, Coolock, on the Malahide Road, and when a meal is purchased the receipt will be put into the box. Once the box is full Supermac’s will order the kit of choice.

“We are delighted to partner with Parnell’s GAA,” Paul Fitzgerald of Supermac’s Newtown, Coolock said.

“We have strong ties with clubs in the area having sponsored teams and events over the past few years.

“Parnell’s GAA Club is one of Dublin’s most iconic clubs and, more importantly, it is at the heart of the local community.”

Colm McDonald of Cumann Parnell’s Juvenile Sports said the prospect of developing a relationship with the team at Supermac’s Newtown, Coolock was a productive one.

“Supermac’s is very active on a national basis in the promotion of sports and has been a major supporter of the GAA in particular,” said Mr McDonald.

“They have produced the Food for Life Range specifically for active sportspeople on the move.

“As a club we are in continuous need of gear and jerseys and the ability to access high quality gear while developing a relationship with Paul and his team at Supermac’s Newtown, Coolock will be a productive one for all involved.”
