Aisling bids for Miss Macra title  

Aisling Barnwall is bidding for the Miss Macra title.

A NORTHSIDE woman will represent Dublin in this year’s 46th annual International Miss Macra Festival.

Aisling Barnwall of North County Macra na Feirme is a native of Wyanstown, Oldtown. 

Aisling is currently  studying at the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) while  she is also working as a supervisor at Tayto Park. 

The festival will take place over the bank holiday weekend (August 4-7).  

Various fun activities will be taking place over a jam-packed weekend with contestants from all corners of Ireland and some international contestants competing for the honour of being crowned International Miss Macra 2017.

Aisling is extremely active in her club and currently holds the position of club secretary. 

She has been involved in many things with her club since joining such as volleyball, debating, tag rugby, public speaking and bowling, as well as attending the numerous social events in the Macra calendar. 

The International Miss Macra Festival committee would like to wish Aisling the very best of luck with the weekend’s festivities.
