DRUMCONDRA native Samantha Mumba has been announced as the ambassador for this year’s Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt in aid of Barnardos.
The former pop princess has her hands full these days – not only running around after her adorable daughter Sage, but also with a new job on TV3, hosting the 6 O’clock Show.
However, despite her busy schedule she still found time to join in the family fun that is taking place in Merrion Square this Easter weekend.
Families looking for a fun day out over Easter are invited to take part in the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt.
It will have something to keep everyone entertained while hunting for chocolate eggs on Good Friday, April 14 and Easter Saturday, April 15.
The city centre park will be transformed into a chocolately children’s playground with music workshops, face painting, a petting zoo and wooden games in the Cadbury Easter Bunny Village.
Families can also attempt to ‘Earn their Ears’ by playing the carnival games, or compete in the ever popular and always egg-citing sports day events.
However, fear not as at this Easter Egg Hunt, everyone’s a winner and will receive a delicious Cadbury Easter egg on completion of the trail!
Family tickets cost €20 and single tickets cost just €5 with every cent from the ticket sales going to Barnardos to help their important work with children across Ireland. Tickets are on sale from www.ticketweb.ie/cadburyEEH with 100 per cent of the proceeds going to Barnardos.
