SWORDS native Seán O’Halloran was a recent guest on NEAR Fm’s ‘Writer’s Block’, the literary arts programme dedicated to showcasing the best of new Irish writing.
Balancing a career in Grant Thornton with aspirations of literary success, Seán is currently submitting samples of his work to competitions around the country looking for his big break and was delighted to be asked in to ‘Writer’s Block’ in the NEAR 90.3FM studio in Coolock.
Broadcast every second Friday at 3.30pm, ‘Writer’s Block’ is North Dublin’s best platform for new and exciting Irish writing with contributions from many of Dublin’s literary journals, writer support services and open-mic nights included too. Amy Herron, events co-ordinator at the Irish Writers’ Centre in Parnell Square, joined Seán on the show along with Morgan O’Reilly.
