DUBLIN Bay North TD Tommy Broughan (Ind) said he has received confirmation from the HSE that the new primary care centre for the Coolock/Darndale area will begin construction early this year and will be delivered in early 2017.
Deputy Broughan said: “Primary care centres are a vital part of community infrastructure and provide a range of very important services such as access to a GP and Practice Nurse, Community Nursing Service including Public Health Nurse, Community Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, and Home Help/support staff.
“The addition of an operational primary care centre to the parishes of the greater Coolock area is much needed and long awaited.”
Deputy Broughan added: “I welcome news that construction is finally due to start early this year.”
