ANOTHER Northside actor is to appear on Ireland’s newest soap this week.
William Morgan, from Kinsealy, in taking up a guest part, will play solicitor Declan Meehan in an episode of
‘Red Rock’, which will be aired on Thursday, March 26 at 8.30pm on TV3.
William (Declan Meehan) has been drafted in by Claire following her brother, David Hennessy’s, arrest.
The gripping storyline sees David and Michael being hauled into the station for questioning when David’s former girlfriend Katie reveals that David was being blackmailed by her brother, the slain Darren Kiely, giving Michael a motive for his murder.
Michael’s lawyer Claire, also the boys’ sister, cannot protect both brothers from a potentially lengthy prison sentence so she has called on her trusted colleague, Declan, to try and get David off the hook.
William is no stranger to Irish Soaps having also played the part of Morgan Dalton in
‘Fair City’, boyfriend to Suzanne Doyle.
He was a regular in the soap for three years until his character was imprisoned for his part in an arson attack.
William has also worked extensively in independent theatre as an actor, director and producer.
Theatre work includes critically acclaimed productions of
’12 Angry Men’ and
‘The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs’.
Under the alias Billy Dufus, he was a Grand Finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards and Channel 4’s
‘So, You Think You’re Funny?’ at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival.
William has also directed and appeared in a number of music videos for Tisvilde and The Cotton Tree Project. He has also produced a web series
‘Taximan Frank’ and is now working on a new series with Wytao Films.
William said he was delighted to join the cast of
‘Red Rock’ as solicitor Declan Meehan.

Roisin O’Donovan, from Malahide, also appears in
‘Red Rock’, playing the character of Niamh Reid.
