ONE of the finest music line-ups is preparing to take the stage in Marlay Park this summer for a terrific series of gigs.

The official roll call for Longitude 2013 will see some of the world’s most eclectic acts perform in the beautiful surrounds of Marlay from Friday, July 19 until Sunday 21.
There are no camping facilities available at the festival itself as it is conveniently located close to the city with numerous accommodation options nearÂby.
Marlay Park has already hosted some of the world’s biggest bands in recent years and has now become home to Ireland’s most exciting new festival.
Headliners such as Phoenix take to the main stage on Friday night, followed by New York indie rockers Vampire Weekend on the Saturday, and to complete the weekend, Kraftwerk perform their amazing 3D concert on the Sunday night.
Fans will also be able to catch Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Foals, Villagers, Hot Chip, Jake Bugg, Modest Mouse, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Paul Kalkbrenner, SBTRKT (DJ set), Mark Lanegan, Local Natives, Django Django, Jessie Ware, TrentmÃ?ller and a whole range of other acts performing across three stages.
Longitude 2013 will also feature some of the finest new international and homegrown acts including Kodaline, Mmoths, Tom Odell, AlunaGeorge, Flume, Cast of CheÂers, Young Wonder, MikÂhael Paskalev, Sohn, Petite Noir, Half Moon Run, Vondelpark and Stealing Sheep.
