Grafton Academy hosts fashion show

Grafton Academy of Fashion Design, Dublin’s preeminent fashion design college, with a rich history dating back to its founding in 1938,  wowed audiences with a fashion show featuring the innovative work of its talented students. 
The event took place at the elegant NYX Hotel in Portobello on May 29, 2024, and marked a celebration of creativity, skill, and passion for Irish fashion.

The fashion show, a culmination of months of hard work and dedication by the promising designers at Grafton Academy, showcased a diverse range of collections that impressed attendees with their originality and eye for detail. From avant-garde creations to timeless classics, the runway was a display of colour, texture, and style that highlighted the creativity and craftsmanship of the students.

Grafton Academy of Fashion Design recently moved from its home of nearly four decades in Dublin’s Herbert Place to ‘The Warehouse’ on Portobello Square – a light-filled converted building located in one of Dublin’s coolest neighbourhoods, a location it shares with the recently opened NYX Hotel.
Managing Director of Grafton Academy of Fashion Design, Evelyn Rouiller, said: “I was so happy for all our students and staff to be able to celebrate their first year at our new home in Portobello, with this hugely triumphant event”
