THIS summer all roads lead to Coppers!

Copper Face Jacks: The Musical has kicked off a smash hit summer run at the Olympia Theatre with a the star-studded opening night last Thursday.

Packed full of craic, huge laughs, culchies, Dubs, and lots of shifting, the cast are gearing up for a summer of fun at the Olympia Theatre until August 10.

The craic will be ninety. Guaranteed. 

Johnny Ward returns as Gino Wildes and is joined by Roseanna Purcell (as Noeleen Níc Gearailt), Michele McGrath ( as Gretchen Ackerman), and Stephen O'Leary (as Mossy Munnix).

Tom Moran is back (as Cormac McCloone) as is Rachel O'Connell (as Lucelita Ni Choncubhair), Kelly Marie Ni Cheallaigh (as Therese McQuill), Mark Fitzgerald (as Eamon Godly), Shane Fallon (as Anto Moran) and Daithi O'Donnell (as Jeremiah).

From the creator of Ross O'Carroll Kelly – Paul Howard, Copper Face Jacks: The Musical is a love story set on the eve of a Dublin v Kerry All Ireland Final.

Laugh out loud as a sweet Kerry girl ends up falling head over her flat-shoes for the Captain of the Dublin football team – Gino Wildes.

Can love conquer all as these two young sweethearts face massive cultural and linguistic hurdles on their road to happiness/Croker?

The first performance was dedicated to Brendan Grace, whose death at the age of 68 was announced this morning.

The show tweeted: “Tonight’s opening night performance will be dedicated to Brendan Grace.”
