A million euro wall of Pop Art featuring works by Andy Warhol is set to feature at Ireland’s premier art fair Art Source, at the RDS from November 9-11.
Among the artists featured at Art Source is Irish Pop Art sensation Cavanagh Foyle, an aviation lawyer who is fast gaining an international following for her provocative and colourful mixed media paintings.
The show will also feature a decade of live music display from renowned music photographer, Dubliner Ruth Medjber, who has just finished Arcade Fire’s European Tour and has been signed up to shoot Glastonbury for the BBC.

The Knitting & Stitching Show
The Knitting & Stitching show returns to the RDS from November 8 to 11. There will be 150 must-see exhibitors selling specialist supplies, along with demonstrations, interactive workshops and galleries curated by internationally acclaimed textile artists.
There will be a host of hands-on activities with workshops on offer taught by leading textile tutors. There should be something for everyone, whatever the ability, covering an exciting mix of crafts from dress making, creative machine sewing, and classic and contemporary embroidery to creative paper crafting, fabric printing and dyeing.
To Prepare a Face exhibition
Artist and poet, Eoghan O'Driscoll, will showcase a collection of his latest works in his debut Dublin exhibition at The Gallery@Framexperts in Ranelagh from November 9 to 15.
Eoghan is an abstract, expressionist painter who draws on his experience of mental health issues to produce vibrant works on a large scale. His body of work includes both portraiture and free flowing abstract images. With a deep understanding of the human condition, Eoghan's work compels us to stop and reflect on what really matters.
Alpine Fest
The Ski Club of Ireland is hosting its Alpine Fest that promises to be a total winter sports weekend on November 10 & 11 with all levels of ski and snowboard enthusiasts welcome. Kick off your ski or snowboard season by mastering your technique with a top level of teaching provided by the ski Instructors. Fallen Angels
Blacklight Productions’ highly stylized performance of Noel Coward's comedy ‘Fallen Angels’ will open in D Light Studios on North Great Clarence Street, off North Strand (five-minute walk from Connolly Station), on November 5 and will run to November 10, at 7pm nightly.
The set and cast will be in grey scale to recreate a black and white movie – giving the theatrical experience a cinematic twist.

Images of Starlight
A new exhibition, ‘Images of Starlight 2018’, featuring a collection of astronomy photographs by Irish amateur astronomers and photographers will open to the public from November 11 until December 2 at the National Botanic Gardens, Dublin.
This free event organised by the Dublin-based Irish Astronomical Society (IAS) and the Irish Federation of Astronomical Societies (IFAS) follows a previous successful exhibition in February 2016, which attracted a record number of visitors.

Remembrance Run
Remembrance Run 5K is a unique event that encourages people of all levels of fitness to walk, jog or run together over 5k in the Phoenix Park on a November Sunday morning, while remembering and dedicating their participation in the event to family or friends.

We Shall Overcome: Liberty Hall remembers
On Saturday November 10 a group of trade unionists, human rights campaigners and musicians of the We Shall Overcome Committee will host a seminar and concert in Liberty Hall to mark the 50th anniversary of the Northern Ireland civil rights movement.
The choice of location emphasises the role of trade unions and those campaigning for social justice in the history of that struggle and in similar challenges faced today.

Remembrance Day Concert
Join the choirs of Saint Patrick’s Cathedral and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra conducted by David Leigh at 7.30pm on Saturday, November 10, for a special Remembrance concert marking centenary of the singing of the armistice on November 1918.
In addition to Brahms’ German Requiem, the concert features a performance of For the Fallen by Edward Elgar, which sets to music the famous line "They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old” from the Binyon poem.
The orchestral work In Memoriam by Arnold Bax, composed in 1916, completes the programme, which also features soprano Rachel Croash and basses Eoghan Desmond and Jeffrey Ledwidge. Ticke €20 (€17 concession), from www.stpatrickscathedral.ie.
