KING Kong Company will be playing one of their biggest headline shows when they take the stage of the Olympia Theatre on Saturday, October 13.
A few people called them the act of Electric Picnic 2017 after they made 10,000 people dance in a tent in the middle of the afternoon like it was the middle of the night.
Now with their upcoming date at The Academy selling out ages ago, King Kong Company’s next Dublin gig will be at The Olympia on Saturday, October 13.
King Kong Company wrapped up their 2017 tour with gigs in Cork, Dublin and Galway.
The band have been celebrating one of their most successful years yet, having packed tents and fields at Body & Soul, Townlands, the Spraoi Festival and an epic Electric Picnic slot at 3.30pm on the Sunday afternoon. The band wanted to capture the madness of the EP gig so they recruited fans to shoot the last track.
They then pieced together a video made up phone footage that captured one legendary show.
