In pantomime versions of the classic Aladin tale, changes in the setting and story are often made and elements of other Arabian Nights tales (in particular Ali Baba) are often introduced into the plot.

Since the early 1990s Aladdin pantomimes have tended to be influenced by the Disney animation.

For instance, the 2007/8 production at the Birmingham Hippodrome featured songs from the Disney movies Aladdin and Mulan.

The Mill Theatre version is suitable for all the family and is recommended for ages four and over.

There are weekday School Shows (before Christmas) at 10am and 11.15am.

To book your school tel 01-2969340 or email helen@milltheatre.ie. All school performances are unreserved seating. Weekend shows are at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. Aladdin is at the Mill Theatre Dundrum from Thursday, December 7 to Saturday, January 6.
