LCD Soundsystem have announced that they will play three very special shows at the Olympia Theatre, on Wednesday, September 27, Thursday 28 and Friday 29.
 This marks LCD Soundsystem’s first headline shows in Ireland since recently reforming in 2015 and follows numerous wildly successful festival appearances around the world. The three Olympia shows will be the band’s only Irish appearances this year.
Formed in New York in 2005, LCD Soundsystem ained immediate attention and critical acclaim for their self-titled Grammy-nominated debut album.Â
Splitting in 2011, they reformed in 2015 and marked their hotly-anticipated return with a whole host of major festival slots including Coachella, Primavera Sound, Lovebox Festival and the Electric Picnic.

This special run of shows in Dublin marks an exciting new chapter for LCD Soundsystem and their fans.Â
Tickets for the dates that were priced from
?¬54.50 inclusive of booking fee and restoration levy went on sale last Friday and quickly sold out. However, further tickets may be released later in the year.
