LOUGH Eske Castle’s Spa Solís has been awarded the prestigious accolade of Ulster Spa of the Year at the 2016 Irish Tatler Spa Awards.
The annual awards recognise Ireland’s leading spas, honouring those who deliver outstanding services, high standards and an excellent overall experience.
Spa Solís takes advantage of its wonderful natural surroundings to create a wellness experience. Located in the foothills of the Bluestack Mountains and situated in 43 acres of woodland, the luxurious facilities are complemented by mystical forestland for relaxing walks, a secluded castle garden for reflection and the Castle’s award-winning Cedars Restaurant.
The spa itself features seven treatment rooms, a garden-facing relaxation area, 17m indoor heated pool, fully equipped fitness centre, and a thermal Suite with an ice fountain, sauna, steam room, tropical experience showers, heated bench and a hydrotherapy pool.
“We’re absolutely delighted with this award,” said Denise McDonagh, Spa Manager.
“It really is a wonderful recognition for our therapists who always take the time to get to know guests and tailor treatments to their requirements and preferences.
“The Castle’s entire team is dedicated to providing outstanding service and this award really is a testament to the hard work the team puts in every day.”
This latest accolade adds to the success the Castle has experienced since it opened in 2007, including Luxury Castle Hotel & Spa of the year (Luxury Travel Guide Award Winner 2016), Top Rated 5 Star Wedding Venue in Ireland 2015 (Weddingdates.ie) and Highly commended for The Best Service Award (Irish Tatler Spa Awards 2013).
