Art exhibition
‘Fallen Angels’, by Michael O’Sullivan, is a Fine Art Exhibition that recently opened at the Eddie Chandler Gallery, 10 Lower Camden Street, Dublin 2, and will be open until the New Year.
It consists of beautiful large format limited edition fine art prints painstakingly selected and produced for the exhibition. It is distilled from Michael’s ‘Fallen Angels & Lost Souls’ series, which is a body of conceptual fantasy art he has been producing since 2010.
Michael (pictured above) uses fantasy art photography as a vehicle for his view of the world, and humanity’s place within it, drawing on mythology, fairytale, history and religion to impose visual order on the chaos that is the world as he sees it, allowing him to express it and at the same time, help him to understand it.

Raheny Camera Club’s annual exhibition will take place at the Red Stables, St Anne’s Park from December 10-15.
Drop in and view the members’ work including this stunning image of Howth Harbour by local photographer Owen O’Connor.

An exciting new Christmas tradition is being launched this year on Grafton Street when a group of tuba players from all over the country will gather to perform Christmas music on Saturday December 10 to raise funds for Sensational Kids.
This is the first time this event has been held in Ireland but similar events are popular in the USA where they have been a highlight of the holiday season for many years.
The festivities take place from 2-3pm on the famous Southside street.
Anúna at GPO Witness History
GPO Witness History on O’Connell Street will see renowned Irish choir Anúna’s only Irish public performances of 2016, featuring many classic Christmas songs and a selection of their material.

Carols By Candlelight
The beautiful Georgian surroundings of the Pepper Canister Church will play host to Carols By Candlelight, a free traditional service and carols sung by Classicus Youth Choir, on Sunday, December 12 at 6pm.
Now established as an annual tradition in one of Dublin’s landmark churches, this free service is enormously popular but it’s in an 18th century church with limited capacity. Seating for the service is unreserved and people will be seated until the church is full so go early to avoid disappointment.
