Dublin Airport wins achievement award

DUBLIN Airport has won the Irish Aviation Authority

‘Airport Achievement Award’.

The airport was recently presented with the prestigious award for its outstanding commitment to infrastructural improvement and the enhancement of the passenger experience over the last 12 months.

Accepting the award on behalf of the team, Head of Mechanical & Electrical Systems Asset Management Paul Begg, said:

“Dublin Airport is on a cultural journey of developing Asset Management.

“Individually we are good at what we do, collectively we have opportunities to improve performance and passenger experiences by working collaboratively with our customers.

Dublin Airport is currently improving its infrastructure further with two major investment projects.

A

?¬20 million extension to the apron area will deliver an additional 10 new aircraft parking spaces on the northern end of the airfield.

And a

?¬14 million project is underway to expand the short term parking facilities opposite T2.
