OVER 1,300 classic and vintage cars will be the main attraction at this year’s Irish Classic & Vintage Motor Show in Terenure.

CMRF Crumlin, the fundraising body for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin and the National Children’s Research Centre (NCRC), has been chosen as a charity partner for this year’s event at Terenure College.

The Irish Jaguar and Daimler Club has organised the car show for the last 23 years, and donates a percentage of proceeds raised through ticket sales to different Irish charities each year.

Last year’s Irish Classic & Vintage Motor Show raised approximately

?¬30,000 for its charity partners and this year the club is hoping to surpass this.

Every year, CMRF Crumlin relies on funds raised through community events and fundraisers across the country to contribute to the

?¬12 million required to fund their ongoing needs.

Monies raised from this charity partnership will be used to fund new state-of-the-art equipment in the radiology department of the hospital, which sees more than 50,000 patients per annum.
