A PENSIONER had a large sum of cash stolen from his car in Stillorgan last week.
According to the man’s daughter, he had withdrawn
?¬2,800 from the Bank of Ireland on the morning of Monday, March 30, to pay for work carried out on his home.
He left the cash in his car, a white Toyota Yaris, which was parked close to Eddie Rockets.
The car was unattended for a short period while he did some shopping. When he returned home he realised the cash had been taken. Gardaà have been notified of the incident.
However, the family is appealing to anyone who might have information on the missing money to come forward. They are asked to contact their local Garda station.
