DUBLIN Port Company has formed a new charity partnership with Aware.
The aim of the partnership is to help promote awareness of the range of vital support and education services Aware provides to people experiencing difficulties in their life.
Aware will be provided with the platform to promote its services to thousands of attendees at Dublin Port’s community events and festivals throughout the year, including the June Riverfest festival which attracted over 46,000 people in 2014.
Dublin Port Company will also lend its support to Aware’s fundraising ventures, beginning with the annual Harbour2Harbour Walk on St Patrick’s Day.
Dominic Layden, chief executive of Aware, said it was delighted to partner with Dublin Port Company.
“Aware’s services are a gateway to help and recovery for people who are experiencing depression and other challenges in life,
? said Ms Layden.
