A LOCAL TD has welcomed the progress made recently on the DART line in the vicinity of Bayside DART Station.
Dublin Bay North TD Sean Kenny (Lab), a member of the Oireachtas Transport Committee, said he has been working on the issue with residents in Sutton Park who live close to the DART station.
“They have been campaigning for years to get work done that was required in order to alleviate flooding concerns,
? said Deputy Kenny.
“I have been informed that after consultation with Irish Rail, this work has finally got underway.
“I am delighted to hear this and hope that the outstanding work can be completed before much longer.”
Deputy Kenny added: “The residents are relieved they will not have to be so concerned about their gardens flooding.”
