A NORTHSIDE charity has opened a new shop to support its fundraising activities.
To Russia With Love founder Debbie Deegan and broadcaster Brendan O’Connor officially opened
‘With Love’ on Vernon Avenue, Clontarf.
‘With Love’ will be Dublin’s newest vintage emporium, stocking high-quality second hand goods from Irish style icons such as Miriam O’ Callaghan, Lorraine Keane, Norah Casey, Marian Keyes and Mary Kennedy.
Other items in the store will include jewellery, old china, candles, hats and shoes.
The shop will act as a hub of activity for the local area hosting a range of events from knitting classes, book clubs and open discussions on topical issues.
Founded by Clontarf native Ms Deegan in 1998, To Russia With Love has transformed the lives of thousands of abandoned and orphaned Russian children.
The charity now offers its programmes of care across Russia teaching life skills for a brighter future and provides children with improved living conditions, healthcare and education.
All profits from the new shop will go directly towards supporting children under the wings of To Russia With Love.
