The station’s LiveDrive programme is once again the centrepiece of a new schedule for 2014 that includes programmes covering immigrant artists living in Dublin, self development, money issues, setting goals, indie music and soccer for schoolchildren.
CEO of Dublin City FM, Mick Hanley, believes the new schedule will attract more listeners to the local radio station.
“We are delighted to expand the range of programmes which reflects the diversity in the city,
? he said.
“The station broadcasts 100 programmes every week and we are delighted to compliment our schedule with six new programmes.
?
To coincide with the schedule announcement new LiveDrive high visibility safety vests for cyclists and pedestrians were launched.
The LiveDrive traffic programme has been broadcasting since 2005 in partnership with Dublin City Council’s Traffic Management Centre and has become an integral part of road users’ journeys to and from their destinations every weekday morning and afternoon.
“103.2 Dublin City FM’s LiveDrive has been broadcasting from Dublin City Council’s Traffic Control Centre for eight years now,
? said Director of Traffic, Michael Phillips.
“It’s the only radio traffic service with access to Dublin City Council’s traffic camera network and so it’s the only live, on-the-spot traffic information.

LiveDrive broadcasts from 7.10am and 4-7pm every day. The launch took place last week in Dublin City Council Traffic Control Centre at Civic Offices, Wood Quay.
