A DUBLIN 15 based insurance firm celebrated its recent tenth anniversary with a wacky birthday bash in the Gravity Bar at the Guinness Storehouse.
Guests were invited to don homemade shades for the Blue Insurances celebration and there was no shortage of inventive sunglasses on display at the party.
A true Irish business success story, Blue Insurances began their journey in 2003 when entrepreneurs Rowan Devereux and Ciaran Mulligan joined forces to bring their vision to the market.
Over the years the company has launched a host of insurance brands in the sectors of travel (Multitrip.com), gadget, pet, wedding, motor breakdown assistance and car hire excess.
Last year Blue Insurances announced a turnover of
?¬19 million – up 20 per cent on 2011 – and 32 people are currently employed in their Blanchardstown offices.
The company is now busy making plans for the future, which include an offering of home and motor insurance next year with unique benefits and cover not currently available in the market.
“Here at Blue Insurances, we are delighted to have celebrated our 10th birthday with our staff, industry partners, media and friends,
? managing director, Ciaran Mulligan said.
“Since our establishment we have been passionate about providing our clients and customers with great value insurance products, and first class customer service – something which has not changed over the last 10 years.
