Mayhem expected in Malahide during battle

READY FOR BATTLE: Battle re-enactments will take place as part of the Medieval Mayhem event in Malahide Castle and Gardens on June 22 and 23.

HAVE you ever wondered how families lived hundreds of years ago?

Later this month you will have that opportunity thanks to a major event lined up for Malahide Castle and Gardens.

Medieval Mayhem, which takes place on Saturday and Sunday, June 22 and 23, will bring history to life in what promises to be an exciting event for all the family.

Step back in time and experience a medieval battle through the daily battle re-enactments, witness how women and children cooked and made crafts, watch the falconry and archery displays and much more!

Daily battle re-enactments will take place at 1pm and 4pm and there will be excitement and fun for the family all day long. Food & drink stalls will be provided by Malahide Village.

The tickets prices are: adult

?¬10, child

?¬6 and family tickets from

?¬20 (includes entry to the Walled Garden and West Lawn).

The event opens from 11.30am-6pm and free onsite parking will be available.
