Dubs’ supporters urged to show true colours

HOME SWEET HOME: Pictured outside a home near Croke Park for the launch of the ‘Best GAA Home' competition were Ulster Bank GAA stars Kieran Donaghy, Karl Lacey, Finian Hanley and Tommy McElroy.

NOW that the 2013 All-Ireland campaign is in full swing and Dublin’s bid for Sam is up and running, the search is on to find the best decked out house, which will prove its occupants’ true colours.

Official sponsor of the GAA Football All-Ireland Senior Championship, Ulster Bank, is searching for the

‘Best GAA Home’ this summer.

The campaign aims to highlight how supporters throughout the country show their support for their county.

Throughout the championship supporters will be asked to submit pictures of how they have dressed their houses and communities.

The competition, which runs from July 3 to September 3, will showcase how GAA supporters, across the country, show their support for club and county by turning their homes into GAA fan-zones. Throughout the football championship, Ulster Bank is asking supporters to Tweet, post on Facebook and email pictures of how they have decorated their houses, clubs and communities, with their beloved county and club colours.

One overall winner will be selected to win

?¬5,000 towards a home makeover, as well as tickets and hotel accommodation, for their family, to the GAA Football All-Ireland Final in Croke Park. Additional prizes will be given out regularly throughout the campaign. Terms and conditions will apply and will be available on www.ulsterbank.com/gaa from July 1.

Jim Ryan, managing director of Ulster Bank branch banking, said they were looking forward to seeing the results of their

‘Best Home’ search.

“Every year, families across the island of Ireland use their homes and communities to express their support and passion for their club side and county team,

? stated Mr Ryan.

“We want to recognise their efforts and reward those fans by giving them the opportunity to win

?¬5,000 towards a home makeover, as part of our overall support of sport in our communities.
