THE search for Miss Bikini Ireland is underway with heats to find a representative from North Dublin due to take place at Rouge Nightclub in Swords on May 4.
The competition is now in its second year and in 2012 Niamh Aughney (pictured), from Swords, won Miss Bikini North Dublin and went on to represent the county at the Miss Bikini Ireland final.
This year the winner of the final, due to be held in Dublin in September, will travel to America to compete in the Swimsuit USA International.
The age-range for the Miss Bikini Ireland contest is 17-29, which makes it a pageant organisers dream as there is a larger target market of potential contestants, said Miss Bikini Ireland press officer, Greg Ryan.
“The Miss Bikini Ireland competition is renowned for being fair and fun,
? he added.
“We have many girls who re-compete and we believe this is testament to the organisation of our pageants.
“For us, organising a fair pageant is one of the most important issues, as the contestants work very hard for the final and we ultimately want the most suitable candidates to send to Swimsuit USA International.
To enter Miss Bikini North Dublin 2013 contestants need to send two recent photos of themselves wearing a bikini, along with their details and background to info@missbikiniirelandcom.
