DUBLIN director Damien O’Connor’s IFTA nominated short animation ‘After You’ has been selected from over 1,000 submissions to screen at this year’s prestigious Cinequest Film Festival.
Listed as one of the top 10 film festivals in the world, Harrison Ford and Salman Rushdie are among the top stars scheduled to attend next month’s event, which is expected to draw over 100,000 visitors.
Speaking about the selection, Damien said:
“I am delighted that a small tale about Dublin is getting out to such a wide audience.
“American film festivals can be tricky to get into, but as I witnessed at the recent Martha’s Vineyard international Film Festival, American audiences really seem to love this film.

He added:
“It is a huge opportunity for me to be able to attend Cinequest with an Irish film.
