They're off - the search is on for racing's best dressed folk

MARIETTA Doran, Luke Fitzgerald and Louis Copeland are pictured at the launch of the Best Dressed Lady and Best Dressed Man, which will take place on Saturday, September 8 as part of the Red Mills Irish Champion Stakes.

The Group 1 Red Mills Irish Champion Stakes is rated the eighth highest in the world with a total prize fund of

?¬750,000.

The Ritz Carlton, Powerscourt and fashion house Fee G will sponsor the Best Dressed Lady. Louis Copeland, Ireland’s Master Tailor, will sponsor the Best Dressed Man.

Marietta, stylist and fashion expert, will decide on the lucky lady who will be presented with a

?¬2,000 voucher in Fee G clothes and a two night luxury penthouse suite stay for two people in the Ritz Carlton with a day spa package and dinner in the Gordon Ramsay restaurant.

“The winning look will encapsulate everything we are passionate about, individuality with a distinct signature style,

Luke Fitzgerald, the talented young Leinster and Lions winger and three-time Heineken cup winner, will judge the Best Dressed Man.

Registration for both the Best Dressed Man and Best Dressed Lady will be available at www.leopardstown.com or simply be scouted on the day by Marietta and Luke. Live fashion shows will take place throughout the day in the Red Mills Champion Quarter with a twilight jazz session by the Swing Cats to serenade the racegoers into the evening.
