AS Dublin celebrates the 50th International Eucharistic Congress this week, a Northside man is seeking information regarding photos from the last time the event was held in the capital in 1932.
Local man Pat Hollingsworth, current group leader of the 66th Clontarf Scouts, found these photos of the St Laurence O’Toole’s Troop 4th Dublin, dating back 80 years, at a book sale.
Mr Hollingsworth passed them on to Pat Fearon, a member of the Scouting Ireland Heritage Group.
Mr Fearon contacted Northside People and asked us to publish them in the hope that he could find out some information about them.
“I would be interested if anyone could identify the scouts and when they disbanded or has any other history of the St Laurence O’Toole’s Troop 4th Dublin,
