A star-studded polo event has raised an incredible €40,000 for EB charity, Debra.
Angeline Ball, Dermot Bannon and Noel Meade were among the guests at the unique gathering at the All Ireland Polo Club in the Phoenix Park.
They were joined by actor and former Ireland rugby star Peter Claffey and his beauty influencer partner, Ally McGinn.

Debra supports the estimated 300 people living in Ireland with extremely painful skin condition, epidermolysis bullosa (EB).
It is caused by an absence of proteins between the skin layers, leading to excruciating blisters and bandage changes in severe cases.

The gathering on Friday afternoon (Sep 4) was addressed by Debra CEO Jimmy Fearon, along with Emma Fogarty and Claudia Scanlon, both of whom shared their experience of living and battling the rare condition.
“This was the first fundraiser of its kind – and we hope it becomes an annual fixture in the social calendar,” said Louise Delahunty of Debra.
“It was supported by a range of personalities who generously gave their time and contributed greatly to the charity – and by extension, those who need it most.
“We have to thank the All Ireland Polo Club for hosting us; it was a memorable and special occasion and we hope it is the beginning of a wonderful friendship.
“They have helped us to shine a light on EB, making the people we support and advocate for feel less alone in the obstacles they face every day.”
Derville Meade, President of the All Ireland Polo Club, said it was ‘truly wonderful’ to support Debra.
“We are honoured to host such an incredible community of guests and supporters, and to see the historic club come together for such a vital cause,” she said.
Prizes auctioned on the day included a private consultation with architect Dermot Bannon and autographed memorabilia from golfer Pádraig Harrington.
