The Phoenix Park will be closed next week.
In a statement, The Office of Public Works said:
“The Office of Public Works would like to advise the public of a temporary closure of the Phoenix Park next week.
“The OPW received a request from An Garda Síochána to close the Phoenix Park from 11 pm on Thursday 10 September to 6pm on Saturday 12 September for operational reasons.
“The OPW has agreed to this request. All gates, including pedestrian gates, will be closed during this period.

“Access will be provided to essential staff working within the Phoenix Park and arrangements will be confirmed in the coming days.
“All roads and gates will re-open as soon as it is safe to do so.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
