Fianna Fáil announce 19 Dublin City Council candidates

Fianna Fáil has announced they will be running 19 candidates for Dublin City Council on June 7th.
In 2019, the party ran 22 candidates.
The party will be running candidates in each constituency covered by Dublin City Council.

The candidates are as follows:

These first-time candidates will be run alongside sitting Fianna Fáil councillors.

Fianna Fail’s sitting councillors are:

Racheal Batten – Artane-Whitehall

Dáithí De Róiste – Ballyfermot-Drimnagh

Briege MacOscar – Ballymun-Finglas

Keith Connolly – Ballymun-Finglas

Deirdre Henry – Clontarf Electoral Area

Daryl Barron – Donaghmede

Tom Brabazon – Donaghmede

Deirdre Conroy – Kimmage-Rathmines

Local Senator Mary Fitzpatrick said “the local election ticket for Dublin City is a very strong ticket for our party. Having 19 strong and dedicated candidates on our ticket represents the people of Dublin City with plenty of reliable voices.”

 “All of these candidates are familiar with and passionate about tackling the issues that are important and if elected, I know these candidates would do an excellent job representing local people.”

 Fitzpatrick stated, “Fianna Fáil is the largest party in local government across the country, and if elected on June 7th these candidates will continue the momentum of delivering on local issues over the next five years.”
