Staycity Aparthotels announced as Dublin GAA sponsor with 5-year deal

Staycity Aparthotels is today announced as Dublin GAA’s new primary sponsor, with a launch event at Parnell Park.

Dublin GAA, LGFA & Camogie players Brian Fenton, Donal Burke, Caoimhe O’Connor & Emma O’Byrne were in attendance to launch the five-year sponsorship and launch the new jerseys.

Irish-owned Staycity Aparthotels, based in the heart of Dublin 8, was established in 2004 by CEO Tom Walsh and his brother Ger with a single apartment in a former U2 recording studio in Dublin’s Temple Bar.

The company has since grown to become one of Europe’s leading aparthotel operators and now operates nearly 6,000 apartments across five European countries.

The sponsorship deal will see Staycity sponsoring the county’s hurling, camogie and football teams across all levels.

Commenting on the Dublin launch, Alison Perry, Marketing Manager of O’Neill’s stated; “We are delighted to reveal the new jersey and to have oneills.com as the Official Retail Partner of Dublin.

“We aimed to capture the essence of Dublin’s rich sporting heritage while also bringing a modern look to the jersey.”

The jersey is available to pre-order from 15th and shipping of pre-orders will commence on 24th November.
