Irish Water progresses with works to help safeguard supply in Dublin 15

IRISH Water, working in partnership with Fingal County Council, is carrying out essential works on the watermains in Deerhaven Park, Littlepace, Dublin 15 in order to safeguard the water supply for homes and businesses.

These works involve the installation of new valves on the pipeline that runs through Deerhaven Park.

Carty Contractors Ltd is working on behalf of Irish Water to deliver these works which will start on Wednesday, October 27 and are scheduled to be completed in within five weeks.

The installation of the valves will help to conserve water in the Dublin 15 area as well as improve water pressure for homes and businesses in the area.

The works may involve some short-term water shut offs and the project team will ensure that customers are given a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to any planned water shut offs.

Irish Water is working at this time, with our Local Authority partners, contractors and others to safeguard the health and well-being of both staff and the public and to ensure the continuity of critical drinking water and wastewater services.

Irish Water would like to remind people to follow the HSE Covid-19 advice and ensure frequent handwashing.

“Irish Water and Fingal Council Council regrets any inconvenience caused. Our customer care helpline is open 24/7 on 1850278278 and customers can also contact us on Twitter @IWCare with any queries,” Irish Water said in a statement.
