Gardaí on patrol responded to a public order incident in Dublin city centre on Monday 20th July, shortly after 2:00am.
Two members of An Garda Síochána were assaulted during the incident.
Both members were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

A male (aged in his 30s) was arrested and has since been charged in relation to this investigation.
The male is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice (Court number 3) this morning, Tuesday 21st July at 10:30am.
Investigations are ongoing.
