Man arrested after LSD worth over €200,000 seized at Dublin Airport

Gardaí have arrested a man (20s) after Revenue officers seized suspected LSD with an estimated value of €200,000 at Dublin Airport on Friday, 15th November 2024.

The man in his 20s has since been charged and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin on Monday morning, 18th November 2024.

Revenue officers seized approximately 5 grammes of LSD with an estimated value of over €200,000 at Dublin Airport.  This consignment could have potentially been used to manufacture in excess of 20,000 doses.

The illicit drugs were discovered when Revenue officers searched the baggage of a passenger who had disembarked a flight from Amsterdam.
