Two men charged in relation to assault on Gardaí in Ballyfermot

Gardaí investigating a public order and assault incident which occurred on the Ballyfermot Road on Monday morning have charged two men.

Two Gardaí were injured in the attack which occurred outside a pub in the Ballyfermot area after responding to a call.

In a statement, a Garda spokesperson said: “The men, one in his 50s and the other in his 30s, are due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin this morning, Tuesday, 22nd November 2022.

“Investigations ongoing.”
