Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre Opens in Rathfarnham

A new service has opened in the heart of Rathfarnham Village: Fresh Pathway Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre. Located at Church Buildings, the centre provides a welcoming, confidential environment for those seeking guidance through life’s challenges.

Are you looking for a safe space to work through difficulties or explore new ways to thrive? Fresh Pathway offers counselling, psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), low-cost therapy options, and specialised child and adolescent support. Clients can attend sessions in person or online, depending on their needs. Each therapeutic journey is personalised, ensuring respectful and compassionate care throughout.

The centre was co-founded by Deirdre Culbert (IACP, IAHIP), an experienced psychotherapist who brings a thoughtful, integrative approach to her work. She is joined by John Bourke (MA Psychotherapy, IAHIP), a fully accredited psychotherapist with extensive clinical experience and a strong commitment to client well-being. Together, they have built a practice where trust, safety, and personal growth are prioritised.

The centre’s team of dedicated therapists supports clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, neurodiversity, sexuality, low self-esteem, and life transitions. A client-centred approach ensures that each individual is carefully matched with a therapist best suited to their needs. Fresh Pathway also provides a low-cost counselling service, delivered by vetted third- and fourth-year student therapists under regular supervision.
