Artane Comedy Club returns with its second edition, this time in the Ardlea Inn in Artane this Saturday, November 19.
The club was started in response to the lack of cultural activity in the north east of Dublin and this second edition will have some of the finest comedians working the Irish comedy circuit.
Shane Clifford is a comedian from Tralee, Co Kerry.
Shane made his stand-up debut at the age of 30, having already been semi-successful making funny, sometimes strange videos, and putting them on his Facebook page ‘Shane’s Brilliant Page’.
Emily Ashmore is a stand-up comedian who’s quick wit, surrealism and topical humour has charmed audiences all over Ireland and beyond.
She has performed at the Paddy PowerComedy Festival, Vicar Street, Electric Picnic and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
She has had the pleasure of opening for comedians such Des Bishop, Shane Clifford, Joe Rooney and Damo Clark.
Kevin Larney is a dry Dundalk man stuck in a moist Dublin boy’s body.
Winner of Dublin’s next top comic 2020 (which he used for 8 days until the comedy scene was shut down), one half of Shite Talk: An Irish History podcast (Ireland’s 156th most popular history-comedy podcast”), and resident MC in the Ha’Penny Comedy Club, Kevin has gigged all around Ireland, Australia and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Eoin Fahey is a northside comedian, who doesn’t sound like he’s from the northside.
He began doing stand-up in his local GAA club to prove that he wasn’t in fact a clown.
Having failed in that he kept at the stand-up because it’s better to laugh at things than get angry at them.
Allie has performed across Ireland, the UK and the USA pedaling her brand of Girl Dick Energy.
She has graced comedy stages such as Whelans, The Comedy Crunch and Angel Comedy as well as festivals such as Knockanstockan, Quarter Block Party, Love Sensation and The Dublin Fringe.
She is the cofounder of the Hysteria comedy network, producer and 1/3 of The Post Performance Pints Podcast and the resident MC and founder of Token Straight.
Allie is a hilarious and eye opening middle finger to a world that doesn’t want trans people to exist.
Come along for a great night of laughs in your local community.
