THE world’s hottest FMX freestyle motocross talent, 25-year-old Australian, Blake ‘Bilko’ Williams, is heading an all-star line up for the Dublin leg of the 2012 Masters of Dirt World Tour coming to the Citywest Event Centre from Friday, March 23 to Sunday 25.

Bilko, with his larger-than-life personality and dynamic style, is a worldwide favourite with freestyle fans on his Honda CRF-250, and was awarded FMX rider of the year in 2009.  His portfolio includes some of the most intense bike stunts, including landing the first ever cliff-hanger backflip, early on in his freestyle career.  Williams was the first Aussie to win a round of the Dew Tour and took Gold and Silver at X Games 15 in Los Angeles, the ‘Olympics of Action Sports'.

Rob Adelberg (21), one of the new age FMX riders from Down Under, also makes the Masters of Dirt team for 2012.  Other exciting additions to the international line-up include South African Alastair Sayer, who holds the world record for jumping 11 meters in step -up, and was 6th in the IFMXF European Championship 2010. The UK’s Chris Birch is another addition who will bring a vast amount of experience to the show and is a definite crowd pleaser.

New Jersey’s Derek Burlew has also been confirmed for the Masters of Dirt tour, as well as Spain’s Andreu Lacondeguy and Edgar Torronteras, one of the pioneers of Freestyle Motocross.

Snowmobile rider Jostein Stenberg from Norway performs a jaw-dropping set, flipping his 250kg snowmobile, while the USA’s Jon Guetter is on his quadbike, and minibike rider Tomas Barta from the Czech Republic takes some of the biggest risks, on the smallest wheels. Mountain-bikers Sam Reynolds from the UK, and Spain’s newcomer Bienvenido Aguado, display breath-taking aerial stunts that are more than a match for their motorized colleagues.

Tickets for the Dublin show are on sale now from Ticketmaster, priced from €39.
